Jonathan’s career has taken some unexpected—but exciting—turns. After earning a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota, he started out teaching ESL overseas before finding his passion in the nonprofit world. Since 2010, he’s been with Opportunity Partners, where he’s worn many hats—from instructor to manager—helping adults with disabilities thrive.

In 2018, Jonathan shifted gears to focus on strategic initiatives, streamlining processes, and enhancing OP’s data systems. That led him to the IT team in 2020, where he’s since been leading software implementation projects and driving data innovation.

Outside of work, Jonathan is a devoted board game enthusiast, constantly (and mostly unsuccessfully) trying to persuade his family to join him for “just one more round.”
