Jim Gamble

Upper School Teacher

Education & Experience:

Jim attended St. Olaf College and Washington University in St. Louis where he received Bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, respectively. After working for many years as a sales engineer in the water and air filtration industry, Jim made a career change and entered the education field as a tutor. Tutoring eventually led to a teaching position at Groves where he has enjoyed teaching math, physical science, chemistry, and physics.

Hobbies:

Jim is the co-author of a calculus textbook and he coined the phrase “Happy Friday.”
