Extracurricular Activities

The enduring success of Groves Academy® stems from 50 years of empowering students. We know to be successful, we must provide ways for students to ignite their intellectual, social, and emotional potential. We recognize that as we shed light on a student’s weaknesses, we also need to nurture their confidence.

Groves Academy extracurricular programs allow students to let their emotional, physical, artistic, and intellectual talents shine and advance. They provide opportunities to foster leadership, sportsmanship, fellowship, teamwork, character building, communication skills, competition, and school pride.

“Everybody makes everyone feel included in everything we do here.”

Activities and Clubs

Extracurricular activities at Groves Academy provide students a chance to spark interests outside of academics. Activities are offered in technology/science, games/hobbies, arts/design, and sports/wellness.

Athletic Offerings

Athletics at Groves Academy empower students with opportunities to develop leadership skills, practice good sportsmanship and discover the importance of teamwork. We are a member of the Eastern Minnesota Athletic Conference (EMAC) and affiliated with the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL). There are no formal tryouts, and all interested students are eligible to participate.
