Video Replay: “Dyslexia and Other Learning Disabilities”

This virtual community workshop was presented on November 12, 2020, by Ellen Engstrom, Groves Academy Director of Curriculum.

Many learning disabilities have overlapping symptoms and can have confusingly similar names. At this workshop, Ellen Engstrom explains what defines dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. In addition, she addresses how they differ from one another and how they affect learning. Effective, research-validated interventions for each of these learning disabilities are presented and discussed.
